I'm a 26 y.o. guy based in Turin, passionate about creating engaging and effective experiences, shaped by my passions for design, cinema and music.
I would say that the most challenging part of being a UX professionist is correctly framing the problems to
solve.
This is a vital task, which cannot be substituted by a sum of dozens of standpoints of field-specific
professionals. Indeed, most of the times targeting the correct “problem to
solve” requires a multidisciplinary approach.
In this sense, I picture myself as a team member capable of connecting different sources of knowledge,
viewpoints and ethical issues.
Practically, I hope to become a practitioner capable of handling the design
skills for providing “good enough” solutions, which means always finding a good compromise between
functionality
and effectiveness.
Sharing knowledge, defining problems and making the other successful is actually what I feel that is guiding
me
in my present and future working environment.

Progetto Giolli is a professional education course about video making, promoted by Rete per le Politiche
Giovanili dell’Altovicentino. Here I learned the basic techniques of video production, from directing to
recording,
up to editing and post production. As a final result, I produced a short documentary about young people in
Vicenza, collaborating with the other course attendees.
Furthermore, this experience let me get in
touch with
many professionals, that involved me in actual sets, where I refined my personal style.

The Liceo Scientifico Nicolò Tron is a science-oriented high school in Schio (VI).
I think this is
the place
where I started to adopt a critical and scientific-oriented approach to the development of my projects.
Artaxy can be thought as the "Airbnb of art", a digital platform in which instead
of people, there're physical artworks
(paintings, sculptures, photos, etc.) that can move from a location to another. This match-making service
allows
hosts (expo location owners) and artists to meet each other and create new art exhibitions. The startup was
founded in 2018 and ended its activity in 2022.
As co-founder, I learned how, step-by-step, new
business ideas
can turn into actual companies. For instance, althought its short lifespan, it gave me the possibility to
broaden my sightview on a design project, including its relationship with the context (market) and its
impact
on users (customers).

Sartori Ambiente's ArcoSTATION is an automated station with controlled opening of
the hatches, and identification of users through a special card or the health card.
During the UX Challenge 2022, my team was asked to address some usability and accessibility issues of the
structure. Our design solutions added some key features to the original project by making it more social
inclusive and
easy to use, involving a broader set of possible users.
From this experience I learnd how the
integration
between multiple essential services in our city (like waste management) must be thought in a social
inclusive
way, in order to actually improve citizens'wellbeing. The project is under NDA.

In my opinion, Design, more than other disciplines, can be influenced by one’s personal interests, experiences
and culture. Indeed, the reflection of these characteristics can be observed in design outcomes. For instance,
if you carefully observe any product or service, you can often recognize the impact of artistic movements,
historical periods and countries of origin.
That’s why I’m proud of having experienced activities in different fields, such as music, art, startups, video
making, digital communication and social innovation. I feel that the knowledge that derives from all these
occasions affects the way I solve new problems, with a unique perspective.
