How are we interacting with tomorrow’s vehicles? At ReLab we’re trying to get an answer by supporting the
automotive industry leading companies on a daily basis, designing interfaces that fulfill people’s needs
effortlessly.
Automotive industry is extremely interesting from a UX perspective: it combines physical and digital elements
systematically, generating a unique and technically complex experience (which I love!). Furthermore it’s a
field that is changing more than ever thanks to the advent of electric and digital platforms, which open up
new scenarios and possibilities for mobility.
I admit I’ve been a car enthusiast since I was a kid, and now I find it exciting looking at the cars on the
streets and imagining that some of them might include features I contributed to. Let’s make it real!

Moia is an independent company of the Volkswagen Group, which operates its own ride pooling service in
Hamburg and Hanover. It develops mobility services independently or in partnership with cities and the
existing transport systems and covers the entire ridepooling value chain, developing both software and
hardware solutions.
My tasks during the internship included:
• Creation and Dissemination (Internally within the Company) of a Weekly Report on Customer Feedback: This
report comprise a blend of qualitative and quantitative data, presented through various documents, including
easily digestible visualizations intended for seamless sharing and discussion among different design teams.
• Conducting an Independent UX Research Project: This commences with the definition of the problem
(research questions), followed by the design of the research methodology (qualitative methods), culminating in
the analysis of data and the generation of insights (research report).
• Compiling Various Resources on Visual Accessibility: These resources are organized in a shared
repository, offering valuable tools for designers seeking to enhance or evaluate the visual accessibility of
their products. This compilation incorporates insights from academic literature, case studies, and commercial
information.
• Providing Cross-Team Support for UX Research Operations: This encompasses designing interview
guidelines and pre-tests, taking notes, and organizing ethnographic observations and interviews.

Digital products can be considered "social relationships made durable" because they permit, obstacle, allow and
influence
people's activity. I strongly believe that what we design becomes a powerful mediator between individuals.
That's why I feel it's my responsibility, as a researcher, to embed ethical reflection in every design
process. These are some of the values that guide my design choices:
trust
commitment
sustainability
inclusion
